FAQ FAQ

Can I work if I can't speak English or a foreign language?
No need to worry if you don't have foreign language skills. Working in an international environment will naturally improve your communication skills, and you will also have the opportunity to learn basic phrases through training.
Of course, language skills are a great advantage for those who have them. Language allowances will be provided to those who have TOEIC (820 points or higher), the Korean Language Proficiency Test TOPIK (Level 4 or higher), the Chinese Language Proficiency Test HSK (Level 4 or higher), and foreign nationals who have the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (N2 or higher).
For new graduates (general employees), how are the departments to which they will be assigned and transfers decided?
Assignments and transfers are decided based on a comprehensive assessment of company policy, aptitude, and individual wishes. You cannot transfer to a department of your choice at a time of your choice, but during the selection interview and regular interviews after joining the company, please let us know about your vision for the future and the goals you are aiming for. We would like to think about your career together.
Are there opportunities for career advancement?
Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Meijo Beach aims to be a company where employees can work with peace of mind and envision big career plans. We have an environment where people with various visions can grow and thrive, whether they are aspiring to be a service specialist, wanting to work in multiple roles regardless of department, wanting to hone their management skills, or wanting to become a general manager. There are also opportunities to gain experience and play an active role outside of Okinawa Prefecture, such as being dispatched to support group hotels. We want you to seize the opportunity regardless of your age, experience, gender, or nationality.
Could you tell me about holidays and vacation policies?
We operate a shift system. Working hours and days will vary depending on the location.
In addition, although there is consideration given to busy periods, it is an environment where you can apply for leave of absence or take paid leave, and you can also value your private time. Many employees also take childcare leave properly and are active after returning to work.
I am thinking about moving to another area to find work. Is there any support available for my daily life?
We have a good balance of staff from Okinawa Prefecture, other prefectures, and overseas. It is a workplace where staff from diverse backgrounds can learn from and inspire each other.
New graduates are also trained on Okinawa's culture and history, so even those who are living in Okinawa for the first time can receive advice and support to help them adapt to their new environment. For those who are coming from far away, we also have apartments for employees (terms of use apply), so you can feel at ease even if you are considering moving to Okinawa for work.

MESSAGE Message from the HR department

Deputy General Manager Shiori Hiyama

Towards a company where employees can dream big

Japan has made a start as a tourism-based nation. Okinawa, with its warm climate, beautiful nature, unique culture and history, has the potential to become the hub of tourism in Japan. The driving force behind the tourism-based nation of Japan is the tourism-based prefecture of Okinawa. Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Meijo Beach was opened to deliver the charms of Okinawa to customers from both within Japan and overseas. With the motto of being "the best resort hotel in the Orient," the hotel aims to meet global standards in everything from the building's layout to the service and food.
Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Meijo Beach is a member of the Ken Corporation Group, which has earned the trust of customers from both within Japan and overseas, and has a stable management base. Based on this solid foundation, we will continue to hone our overwhelming performance and outstanding management capabilities without being bound by the conventional wisdom of the hotel business.
Our company has a huge number of rewarding positions and a wide range of fields to challenge yourself in. In this environment, we hope that you will approach your work with passion and improve your skills, so that you will experience joy, learn a lot, and grow.
As a member of Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Meijo Beach, we are looking for someone with high aspirations and hospitality who can lead the tourism industry to the forefront of the industry in the future.
