Born in Kamakura, Kanagawa Prefecture.
After returning from studying in the UK, she worked at an art gallery and under contract at Sony's headquarters before joining Gap Publishing Co., Ltd. She was involved in editing lifestyle magazine "gap" and book planning for about eight years, before going independent as a freelance editor and writer. Since then, she has worked on the theme of "food, design, and lifestyle" as well as editing, reporting, and writing for magazines and web media, and also planning and editing, contributing, and copywriting for owned media and flyers for various companies and shops in the fields of fashion, art, food, and hotels. After working remotely from two locations, Ishigaki Island and Tokyo, for about three years from 8, she moved to the main island of Okinawa in 2003.
His most recent book is "Tokyo Souvenirs and Gifts Selected by Gift-Giving Experts" (CCC Media House).

In order to provide a truly superior level of service, we have invited Chef Koyata Shinjo to be the Club Lounge's exclusive bakery chef.
With the theme of "exclusive bread you can't find anywhere else," we bake more than 25 kinds of original bread every morning just for our lounge.
This time, we asked Chef Shinjo to tell us about the appeal, special features, and how to enjoy the Premier Club Lounge's original bread.

Shinjo Koyata | Shinjyo Koyata
Born in Okinawa Prefecture. With parents owning a bakery, he grew up in an environment where bread was a part of life. After learning the basics at a bakery in the prefecture from 2002, he joined KOLN, a long-established bakery in Kobe. After six years of training and learning a wide range of bread-making techniques and store management, he went independent. He opened and managed Becker Origin in Okinawa Prefecture on a three-year contract. After working in the bakery division of Okinawa Flour Mills Co., Ltd., he became the bakery chef at Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort in 6. Since then, he has also served as the hotel's pastry manager. In May 2009, he was appointed head chef of the bakery department at Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Nashiro Beach. He is currently active in a wide range of areas, from developing new menu items to training personnel.

Our original breads are made with the finest ingredients and recipes, and our menu of carefully selected ingredients, including open sandwiches and egg dishes, finger foods, and charcuterie, all prepared in the live kitchen, can be enjoyed along with free-flowing wine and drinks from the morning. Q2.How would you describe "Premier Club Lounge Bread" in one word?
A2.Packed with attention to detail"The Ultimate Hotel-Made Bread".
Local bakeries, or so-called retail bakeries, have the joy of being able to make "daily bread" that is born in that environment, and have many people enjoying it. On the other hand, they have to "fight against the cost of raw materials," and the reality is that there are many ingredients that they would like to use but hesitate due to the rising cost. In that respect, the appeal of the Premier Club Lounge is that they can make bread with a wide range of ingredients, even if the cost is a little higher. The bread baked at the Premier Club Lounge could be said to be "the ultimate hotel-made bread," which is made possible by the chef's whims of "I want to use these ingredients" and the requests of customers.
Q3.What ingredients do you place particular emphasis on?
A3.First,Wheat. AndSafetyThat's it.
Wheat is the core of the bread's flavor. We order the best flour from flour mills each season. Other ingredients include sugar and butter, which give the bread aroma and richness, and processed meats (charcuterie), which are essential for prepared dishes. All of these ingredients have been selected in pursuit of the premium taste of our "Premier Club Lounge Original." What we value most above all else is that the ingredients are safe. We strive to select ingredients that our guests, from small children to the elderly, can enjoy with peace of mind.
Q4.What kind of bread would you like to offer at the Premier Club Lounge in the future?
A4.Full of excitement and discoveries"Bread that can't be found anywhere else".
What I want to try now is "Pain de Rodève", a hard bread with a high hydration content, made with "Levain yeast", which is quite difficult to make in a hotel environment. The delicious crust is crisp and the fragrant crumb is chewy. This is a bread that allows you to directly taste the aroma of yeast and the flavor of flour, making it a luxurious bread that goes well with any dish.
In addition to that, we would like to continue trying new things in the future, and we would be happy to provide our guests with bread that will be an "exciting dining experience" and "a memorable part of their trip" through limited edition breads planned for events and seasons, as well as "breads that can only be tasted here and not found anywhere else."
